A November to Remember

A WALK IN THE PARK
November started out with a walk in the Park...Park City, that is. Tyler and I met up with Todd's family at Pei Wei's for some lunch and then to see the LEGO® Exhibit "The Art of the Brick," at the Kimball Art Center. It was fun to see what the artist created with the silly little toy that can be such a nightmare to clean up after a child plays with them. Seriously...they are so small and there are so many of them! I'm debating whether or not my children will ever have any of their own, or if I will send them to their cousin's (Dexter) house to play with them. Hmmm? Dexter loved...and probably still does...LEGO'S!! ...so much that for his 10th birthday he and I went to California (Dexter's first plane ride and his first time at the ocean/beach), where we spent a full day at LEGO LAND. That was a GREAT trip! Remember, Dexter?

Oh...back to the present...here are pics of us in Park City.

The boy on the end with the dark hat (made out of duct tape - not sure why) is named Chris. He is a friend of Geoffrey. Christopher (my nephew, not to be confused with Chris the duct-tape-hat-boy, decided to go for a little plane ride with his friend. Hmm...Park City or plane ride??)

After the art exhibit, Tyler and I did a quick stroll of Main Street and then met up with Todd's family again at the outlets. I don't think I bought a single thing. But it was fun to browse. We saw one crazy lady dressed all...skanky-ish...in tight jeans and lots of bright yellow attire. Wish I would have taken a picture. Darn the darn! Those are the moments to capture, right?

BEAUTY AND THE BEAST
Geoffrey was in his first school play this month. He did such a GREAT job!!! Seriously Geoff, you should keep acting. You're a natural! It was so much fun to see him on stage...definitely in his element! Look at that happy face and those proud grandparents.

(Why...why must I be shorter than my nieces and nephews? Not fair!)

And this, my friends, is what we found when we got home later that night...
Tyler hadn't come to the play with me because he was shooting a wedding in SLC. It got over sooner than he expected. So, lucky me, he surprised me by being at my parent's house after the play. In the tub...of course! I was so excited I started to cry! I'm such a girl...and a lucky one at that!!! FYI - I love Tyler. =)

Great post! Welcome back to the blogging world, try not to leave so much time between posts please. Even though I knew most of the information, it was still fun to see the pics.
