Balls and Rings

This girl LOVES BALLS! And below you will see what she typically does with them. Not sure why, but this is what she does. Here is her step-by-step process:

1. Find a ball

 2. Pull neck of shirt out and drop ball down in
3. Push it down with your finger to make room for more balls
 4. Pull shirt out further to make sure there is enough room for another ball
 5. Drop in another ball
 6. Be very proud of your accomplishment

And then...when the balls aren't enough fun, find a frisbee/ring and add that to the mix!

Play Date with Carsen

Holland and Carson met during their swim lessons last Fall. They’ve become great friends and have a play-date a few times a month. Watching them interact is so dang precious - they have this unspoken language that is so fun to watch.

And lately, Holland has been OBSESSED with her belly button. Seriously! Check these little photos out. I need to take more so you can see how stretched out the neck of her shirts get because she is constantly reaching down...I guess to make sure her button is still there. Who knows?

Dining Al Fresco

We do just about anything to get Holland to eat! Plane noises, sneaking the food in while she's not looking, letting her hold the spoon or fork. But then,  we discovered...she just likes to be outside when she eats. So, lately, she's dining al fresco at her little pink table on the back patio. It usually does the trick!

Sunday - the day of stripping

Holland was so funny at church today. She took off her shoes then headed for the isle where she ripped off her sweater and headband...and then started tugging her skirt down. I could not help but laugh. It all happened so fast.

A little something about me: I usually laugh in embarrassing situations and it is really hard for me to stop. (Ask Sheri. She's experienced my laughing fits multiple times.) It's just something about when I laugh in these moments I honestly cannot stop...believe me, I try!

Anyway, Holland at church today sparked one of these moments. My stomach actually hurt from laughing. Good thing Tyler kept his composure and was able to grab Holland before she was down to her tighty whitey onesie.

I wish I would have gotten a picture, but, well, I didn't want to add to the already inappropriate scene being played out during Sacrament Meeting. She did, however, have a totally cute outfit on!! See...

Independence Day

My favorite holiday is for sure The 4th of July! Although, with a baby, the celebrating of this, my fave holiday, has become pretty low key. We didn't hit up the Freedom Parade or the Freedom Race this year. And guess what? I survived! But don't worry Provo, we'll be there next year!

This year we spent the entire day in Salem with family and friends. My mom planned a BBQ and Tina provided the fireworks! It was a fun, relaxing day with good food and great company...and perfect weather! Literally, we were outside all day and I loved it!

The Host and Hostess

Holland was not a happy camper when we put her in the "baby swing"...
Baby Swing
But look how much she loved the "big girl" swing!!

We ate lots of popcicles...

Some people (TYLER!) ate more than 10 of them!

Holland especially loved the pool, rides in the wagon and jumping on the trampoline!

Even the Glovers came to the festivities!
SISTERS!

And then there were FIREWORKS!!!

Our pyro-tech!
We hope everyone had a very happy day celebrating the freedoms we enjoy...and fireworks!
