Seriously...it's February? Dang! Is that darn groundhog going to see his shadow tomorrow or what? Hmmm? I don't think I really care, 'cause either way I get to go to Costa Rica this month!!! I can hardly wait. Family and fun in the sun. Oh man, get here already my sweet vacation!
Speaking of, I went shopping on Saturday to find a bathing suit (I liked this one) and some summer-type clothing for the trip. I was in the dressing room at Target putting on the third bathing suit when I burst into tears. I all of a sudden felt fat! I immediately got dressed and banned myself from looking in any mirrors for the remainder of the day. I had looked at my naked body for far too long - analyzing how my butt was slightly bigger and my boobs...well, seriously, I'm just happy I never went through with that augmentation I was contemplating.
At this point I think I'll just swing by DI in the next few days to pick me up a nice Mu'mu'u to sport for the entire stay in paradise. Unless anyone has a better suggestion for me...
Well, anyway, Happy February to you all. Here's to another fresh start. Another month to claim I'm going to finally post "belly pics." Another month of counting down the days (85) until this little baby girl is in my arms. I can hardly wait...

Yeah, my mom was just asking me this weekend to tell you to send her an updated belly pic! I love the bathing suit, why haven't you gotten it?
I'm sure what to you is fat, to everyone is else is super adorable pregnant. I hate to tell you, but this is just the beginning of the big boobs... wait until after and you breastfeed. This baby is going to be worth it!
I hate to say it, but break down and buy a maternity suit. There are some cute ones out there and they fit better than a regular suit in a bigger size.
YOU'RE NOT FAT. I promise when you leave the hospital, at least half the weight will be gone.
This post made me laugh and feel bad for you thinking you are so fat and crying about it. You are so not fat you have a baby growing inside you and your hormones can get out of control at times. Your body looks great now and will be back to what it was before the baby in no time!
I always thought pregnant women looked so cute and never understood why they felt fat. Until I got pregnant. Regardless of how you feel, you still look adorable! Have a fantastic time on your "babymoon"! As I read somewhere...the easiest trip you'll ever take with baby. P.S. I'll never forget the day my boss said "your baby belly finally sticks out further than your boobs." (my boss is a woman, thank goodness)
I agree with Suzie. Buy a maternity suit--you'll use it again with the next baby.
We all feel just like you do when pg. It's not permanent!!
Love you!!
