Light The Night

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Light The Night Walk is the nation's night to pay tribute and bring hope to people battling cancer. Walks take place in communities throughout the United States and Canada, typically in the fall. On these special nights, thousands of participants carry illuminated balloons and raise funds for vital, lifesaving research and patient services.

The walk was last night at Sugarhouse Park. One lap around = 2 miles. And we're done. Treats beforehand and treats afterward. You know you're going to want to join us next year!

Sheri and Shane and a lot of Sheri's family walked, along with my sister-in-law, Lisa, and my nephews, Christopher and Nathan. And of course, me and Tyler!

As you can see, we gave our first-time participating Two Thumbs Up! We couldn't be happier that Sheri and Eliza are both in remisson!!!

Sheri and Me

Christopher (13)

Nathan ("8...going on 9")

Lisa (age unknown - ha ha!)

Happy - Happy Me!

Tyler only gave it One Thumb Up. Hmmm. Is one thumb up and one raised-to-the-mouth ice cream sandwich actually BETTER than two thumbs up??
